Location: orchester, MA - Adolescent Detention Program (Female population) within the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Friday and Saturday, 6:00am - 2:00pm and Thursday, 10:30am - 6:30pm
Pay rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour

The Food Service Worker is responsible for:
- The implementation of meal and food services delivered to the residents of the Youth Academy under the direction of the Food Services Coordinator
- Networking and coordination of food services, including its administration, as well as all DYS, state, and vendor programs, community agencies and Spectrum Health Services and its programs as assigned
- Working evenings and weekends to meet the operational needs of the program
- Serving food/meals to residents and staff of the program
- Assisting in the cleaning of the stoves and ovens, as well as other kitchen appliances and equipment
- Preparing food and drink for meals and snacks
- Washing and maintaining cleanliness of pots and pans, dishes, trays and other cooking and service equipment and utensils
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school degree or GED.
- Must pass criminal background check
- Customer service background is preferable.
- Prior food service experience preferable, certification may be required.
