Primary Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver electrical supplies to contractors and customers at job sites throughout the local area.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials while verifying that deliveries are accurate and complete.
- Communicate professionally with customers and job-site personnel.
- Complete delivery paperwork and promptly report any shortages, damaged materials, or delivery issues.
- When not making deliveries, assist in the warehouse with pulling orders, staging deliveries, receiving shipments, stocking, and storing products.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and delivery vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles in a variety of traffic, weather, and job-site conditions.
- Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds or more.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable using basic paperwork and mobile devices to verify deliveries.
- Able to follow safety procedures and properly secure materials for transportation.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
- Warehouse, construction, or electrical-supply experience is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to move between driving and warehouse responsibilities as workload requires.
