Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly accurate Inventory Clerk to support daily inventory and data-management activities. This position is responsible for entering, reviewing, validating, and maintaining inventory-related information to ensure records are complete, accurate, and up to date.

The ideal candidate has strong Microsoft Excel and data-entry skills, exceptional attention to detail, and takes initiative when identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and maintain inventory-related data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review inventory records and identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent information.
  • Research and assist with resolving inventory and data discrepancies.
  • Import and export data between systems, spreadsheets, and other programs.
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets and inventory tracking reports.
  • Use PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas such as SUM to review and organize data.
  • Reconcile information across systems and source documents to maintain data integrity.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records and documentation.
  • Identify potential errors and proactively investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory reporting and other administrative duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous inventory, data entry, warehouse administration, materials, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas, sorting, and filtering.
  • Strong keyboarding and data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy and very low error rate.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and independently investigate potential issues.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or HCSS HeavyJob is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be comfortable working onsite five days per week.


We are looking for someone who is naturally meticulous and takes ownership of the accuracy of their work. The right person will not simply enter data; they will recognize when something does not look right, investigate discrepancies, and help ensure inventory information can be trusted.
