Brief Description

Company : Alamo Water Softeners

At Alamo Water Softeners, we believe clean water changes everything and we take that seriously. We're a family-run business built on trust, craftsmanship, and doing right by our customers. Our team isn't just selling systems we're helping people improve their health, protect their homes, and invest in their families.

If you're someone who loves a tight, organized operation: every part counted, every truck stocked, every job staged and ready, you'll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do

This role is about more than counting boxes. It’s about keeping the whole company moving. Our install and service crews are in customers’ homes every day, and nothing rolls out until the warehouse gets it right. You’ll own our inventory, purchasing, and returns, lead the warehouse team, and make sure every job leaves the building fully equipped.

Day-to-Day

  • Own inventory accuracy—daily cycle counts, weekly truck audits, and clean records in our CRM (ServiceTitan)
  • Create and approve purchase orders to keep stock at the right levels without overbuying
  • Run shipping and receiving, with product verified, stocked, and logged same-day
  • Manage warranty returns start to finish
  • Stage materials and equipment 2-3 days ahead of every scheduled job
  • Build vendor relationships and hunt down cost savings, bulk discounts, and better pricing
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant
  • Train, schedule, and lead the warehouse team with clear daily priorities

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

  • Like things counted, labeled, and exactly where they belong
  • Lead from the warehouse floor
  • Hate watching a truck leave without something the job needs
  • Spot problems early and fix them before they cost money
  • Enjoy negotiating with vendors and finding the better price
  • Want to work somewhere with values, not just quotas

What We’re Looking For

  • Warehouse or inventory management experience, including time leading a team (supervisor or lead)
  • Working knowledge of purchasing, receiving, and warranty processes
  • Experience with inventory and follow-up systems (we use ServiceTitan)
  • Strong organization, data entry, and record-keeping habits
  • Comfortable operating pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift 40 pounds regularly (up to 60 on occasion)

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Health benefits and paid time off
  • Real ownership of your operation and a real voice in how it runs
  • Career path into broader operations leadership as we grow
  • Supportive team, strong brand reputation, and leadership that invests in you

Benefits

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Health savings account
  • Life insurance
  • Paid training
  • Vision insurance
